Peeps and Cracks

When I looked in the incubator today the eggs were cracked. One of them is going to hatch very soon. I just looked in the incubator and you can see a little bit of the beak! Once in a wile you can hear little peep.

Duck Egg Arrival

Today I got the duck eggs. The duck eggs happen to be Mallard ducks. We ordered 12 duck eggs but they accidenley gave us 13!

Male Mallards have a green neck and at the end of it there's a white ring. They have a brown brest and a grayish body. There tail has black and white.Females are not as pretty as the males. There body colors are mainly brown, gray, black, and a little white.

Waiting for Duck Eggs

Today is march 3, 2010 and yesterday when I got home from school my mom told me that the duck eggs would come anytime from Wednesday to Friday.

When I went to school today, at recess my friends; Sarah, Fiona, Olivia, Emma and I thought of names for the ducks.
The names were:
Fluffy,Lucky,Sprinkles,Cupcakes,Pancakes,Waffles,Syrup,Carmel,Hershey,Sugar,Cinnamon, and Quakers.

Fiona thought of the name Cheese and Quakers for the blog. Also Fiona and I made this up, Fluffy the lucky ducky and Lucky the Fluffy ducky.
